Will this stain/discolor my shoes or boots? This spray won't stain colorfast shoes, but we recommend testing it first. Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area and wait for it to dry to check for any adverse reactions. Temporary darkening due to wetness may occur but should return to normal once dry.

How to apply? Do I apply inside or outside? With or without a stretcher device? To apply FootMatters Shoe Stretch Spray: 1. Prepare your shoes. 2. Shake the bottle. 3. Test an inconspicuous area. 4. Spray the shoes both inside and out in a ventilated space. 5. Use a stretcher device or wear them with thick socks. 6. Repeat as needed for the desired stretch.

Does it have a strong smell? Should I apply it in a well-ventilated area or wear a mask? FootMatters Shoe Stretch Spray has a strong initial scent, but it is not toxic. We recommend using it in a well-ventilated area for faster dissipation. If you are sensitive to odors or have respiratory issues, using it in an extra ventilated area and considering wearing a mask may be advisable.

Can shoes be waterproofed before or after the spray is applied? Can it be used on waterproof materials? The spray can penetrate fibers for stretching but won't work on permanently waterproof materials. Use it before waterproofing. If your shoes are already treated, applying it inside may have minor effects.
